Day 1 - Istanbul (D)
Pick up from Airport transfer to Hotel . Freetime at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Boutique Hotel in the Old city.
Day 2 – Istanbul (B,L,D)
Start your day with our tour called “Ancient Istanbul”. Pick up at 9 am. This tour is taking you to the Highlights of the Ottoman and Byzantine era. See: St. SophiaMuseum, Sultanahmet Mosque, the Ancient Byzantine Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace and Grand Covered Bazaar.Return to Hotel around 5pm. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 3 – Istanbul (B,L,D)
Pick up at 9am for the “Scent of two Continents” tour. Today you will see the Egyptian Bazaar, sail trough the Bosphorus on Cruise, cross over the Bosphorus Bridge to Asia, view the City from its highest peak called the Camlica Hill, visit Beylerbeyi a little town on the shores of the Bosphorus or give yourself some time to shop at the Bedestan. Return to Hotel around 5pm. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Ephesus (B,L,D)
Check out of your Hotel for a early morning flight to Izmir. Transfer from Izmir Airport to Kuşadası. Upon arrival start ''Ephesus tour''. Visit: The world famous Ephesus ancient city. Proceed to the House of Virgin Mary which the Vatican has recognized as the final resting place of the Virgin Mary. Finish your day visiting the Artemis Temple, remains of what was once one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. End of the tour around 5pm. Dinner & overnight at Beach hotel in Kusadasi.
Day 5 – Pergamum (B,L,D)
Pick up from Hotel at 9am and drive up north to Pergamum, one of the most beautiful cities of the Ancient world that became an important Kingdom during the Hellenistic period. This city was the renowned cultural and political center used by the Romans as an administrative center for the province of Asia. Visit the ruins of Asclepion, the Acropol and the breathtaking Theatre which is built into a steep hillside. Drive back to Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight .
Day 6 – Pamukkale (B,L,D)
Departure at 8:30am and drive to Pamukkale (the cotton castle) which is one of the most spectacular sites. See the wonderful calcium formations of the travertine and watch the cataracts falling into basins at the bottom of the mountain. Take off your shoes and walk in the calcium rich waters. Visit the ancient Greco-Roman city of Hierapolis, its largest Necropolis in Asia Minor, thermal baths, great theater, temples, and streets. Transfer to Izmir Airport for the flight to Cappadocia.Arrive in Cappadocia and check in to your special class Cave Hotel. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 7– Cappadocia (B,L,D)
Pick up from Hotel at 9:30 am. Our “In the Caves” tour will take you to the north part of Cappadocia. The tour starts with a short walk in the Red Valley which will take you to Cavusin Village, the location of a spectacular rock castle that once housed everyone in the village. Proceed to Pashabaglari also called the Monks Valley. This peaceful, attractive valley is famous for its three-headed fairy chimneys. The next stop is Avanos village, situated on the banks of the Red river it is the home for the Potters of the region. After lunch visit Devrent Valley, also known as "Imagination Valley", this is the most surreal-looking landscape. Continue to Göreme Open Air Museum. The world’s most important Byzantine cave churches are found in these once remote valleys where monks and nuns pursued monastic life from the 3rd century on. Return to Hotel around 5pm. After a short brake in your Hotel, pick up for Turkish Night Show with Dinner in the Cave.Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 8 – Cappadocia (B,L)
Pick up at 9:30 am for the “Under the ground” tour. Today indeed will take you underground. First stop of your tour will be Esentepe which is one of the best viewpoints overlooking Goreme Village and the valley. Proceed from there to "Derinkuyu Underground City" one of the best preserved and most visited Underground Cities in Cappadocia. The next stop is Ihlara Valley, walk about 4 km following the river down the valley and exploring the hidden churches. At the end of your walk a restaurant by the river is awaiting you for lunch at Belisirma. After lunch visit Selime Monastery and Yaprakhisar panpramic view point where parts of the Startreck movie were shot. On the return road there is another stop at the Pigeon Valley and Uchisar Castle. Transfer to Airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Pick up in Istanbul and end of the tour.
