Day 1 – Istanbul ( L )
Pick up from Hotel at 9 am and start your day tour visiting ‘Ancient Istanbul’. This tour is taking you to the Highlights of the Ottoman and Byzantine era. See: St.Sophia Museum, Sultanahmet Mosque, the Ancient Byzantine Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace and Grand Covered Bazaar. Return to Hotel around 5 pm. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2 – Istanbul ( B , L )
Leave your Hotel at 9 am for the ‘Scent of two Continents’ tour. Today you will see the Egyptian Bazaar, sail through the Bosphorus on Cruise, cross over the Bosphorus Bridge to Asia, view the City from its highest peak called the ‘Camlica Hill’, visit Beylerbeyi a little town on the shores of the Bosphorus or give yourself some time to shop at the Bedestan. The tour will finish around 5pm, return to Hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3 – Kusadasi ( B , L )
Check out of your Hotel for an early flight to Izmir. Transfer from Airport to Selcuk. Upon arrival start Ephesus tour. Visit: The world famous Ephesus ancient city. Proceed to the House of Virgin Mary which the Vatican has recognized as the final resting place of the Virgin Mary. Finish your day visiting the Artemis Temple, remains of what was once one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. At the ends of the tour return to your Hotel around 5pm.Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 4 – Pergamum ( B , L )
Pick up from Hotel and drive up north to Pergamum, one of the most beautiful cities of the ancient world that became an important kingdom during the Hellenistic period. This city was the renowned cultural and political center used by the Romans as an administrative center for the province of Asia. Visit the ruins of Asclepion, the Acropol and the breathtaking Theatre which is built into a steep hillside. Drive back to Kusadasi for your overnight stay.
Day 5 – Pamukkale ( B , L )
Early departure and drive to Pamukkale (the Cotton Castle) which is one of the most spectacular sites. See the wonderful calcium formations of the travertine and watch the cataracts falling into basins at the bottom of the mountain. Take off your shoes and walk in the calcium rich waters. Visit the ancient Greco-Roman city of Hierapolis, its largest Necropolis in Asia Minor, thermal baths, great theater, temples, and streets. You will be taken to the Bus terminal at the end of the tour. Overnight bus to Cappadocia.
Day 6 – Cappadocia ( B , L )
Arrive in Göreme, pick up at Bus station, after a short break start your first day tour in Cappadocia. Our ‘In the Caves’ tour will take you to the north part of the region. The tour starts with a visit to the Devrent Valley also known as Imagination Valley. Your next stop will be “Pashabagi” called the Monks Valley. Proceed to “Avanos” the pottery centre of Cappadocia. Continue to Göreme open Air Museum. The world’s most important Byzantine cave churches are found in these once remote valleys where monks and nuns pursued monastic life from the 3rd century on. Next stop is “Esentepe” panoramic view point. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Day 7 – Cappadocia ( B , L )
Pick up at Hotel lobby for the ‘Under the ground’ tour. Today indeed will take you underground. Start the day with a walk in the “Red Valley”, reach Cavusin Village at the end of your hike. Continue driving to Kaymakli Underground City, one of the best preserved and most visited Underground Cities in Cappadocia. Continue to "Pigeon Valley” a spectacular view of old abandoned cave homes. End your day with a visit to the Pigeon Valley. Transfer to Airport for your flight back to Istanbul.
