Built at the end of the 19th Century (1890) Cevahir Guest House  was designed in the traditioal Sanlurfa House plan as  Haremlik (Ladies) and Selamlik (Mens) sections. The two floor Selamlik section is recognized in Ottoman civil engineering as a “Mansion”.

The Guest House is at the 1st Floor of the mansion and makesGuests feel like home with its authentic atmosphere. Housing 6 rooms with 11 beds  Guests can enjoy the historic atmosphere along with the modern technology.

Cevahir Guest House is serving a wide variation of  Turkish and Sanliurfa local dishes.

Traditional “Sira Nights” are performed every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

What is a Sira Night; Performed for many centuries in Sanliurfa this is a night where same age people get together and enjoy theirselves. The night is performed each evening at another house and there is plenty of music, dance and the traditional “Cig köfte” which is always available at the Sira Nights.
